Believe it or not, possession is a burden. More possession won’t give you peace nor fulfillment. Keep all your stuffs and your life will be busy to manage it. A man can survive with a gulp of water and a bite of bread, why should he wants more? Greedy.
Nomadic people don’t have anything. They don’t have houses. They have a plenty time for family, friends, to play, hunt, enjoy life. They do what they really want.
Now people are doctrined that the purpose of life is to be rich, plenty of stuffs, consume more and more. Social admission, external validation, success, having and consuming more than other people. They don’t really care about global warming, pollution, hunger, war, disease. What they care is television 100 channels, new computers, fashion, and so on. They are consumers. They live to consume and consume, to be dictated by market.
They have to pay so much for such living style. They work 8-14 hours a day 6 times a week. They feel depressed but they do not have a choice. They never do what they really want. “Only rich can do what they want” they think, therefore they have to be rich, work harder and longer. Actually when they get rich, still they can’t do what they really want. They have to manage their business carefully. Business competition is tight. Now they can’t even blink an eyes and relax for their business can collapse anytime and all their effort to get their possession will be vanish. They envy common people for their life not so complicated, just work and get paid and relax in week ends with friends and families. After being rich, they have power, they have money, but still they do not have freedom. Everything is on schedule. They sleep in luxury bed with a supermodel, but they feel no peace nor fulfillment. Their smile is fake and their relation is merely a transaction. They feel unhappy deep within without knowing why. Their pig-like-body fails them to satisfy their wife on bed. More stuff make them less happy.
