0 Reflection on your 40th

you see what you want to see,

you feel what you imagine,

nothing is more important than

   what you are thinking about,

memory fades away,

what is important today,

tomorrow has lost its essence,

like a news that keeps coming,

one after another,

feels important at the moment,

then obsolete, like people, stuffs, events...

it's the tyranny of small actions,

always small things that destroy us,

getting older bit by bit, broken bit by bit,

we lose not by a big war, but by small neglects,

small fights, small misunderstandings,

here and there, now and then,

the happiness along human's life

is merely busying schedule,

what becomes routine,

becomes boring if not burden...

"you are the prison", said Gurdjief,

even what you will and want

is not truly yours,

it's the reflection of others, parents, teachers

    friends, society, biology, all living and non living.

you never be and have yourself, 

not even your desire, fear and hope,

therefore no hard feelings, la tahzan

you belong to god, to universe,

nothing can happen otherwise,

even this note,

has started billions years ago,

all the way to come here,

to come to you this very moment,

0 Individu Vs Sosial

 Sebelum menjadi makhluk sosial, manusia adalah makhluk individu yang memiliki kemampuan dan keunikan masing-masing. Immanuel Kant dalam The Critic of Pure Reason menyebutkan bahwa setiap manusia adalah akhir/tujuan  dirinya sendiri, tidak boleh hanya dijadikan alat untuk akhir/tujuan orang lain atau kelompok. 

Orang yang ukuran kakinya 42 akan nyaman memakai sepatu ukuran 42, bisa dipaksa memakai ukuran 41 atau 43 tapi tidak akan nyaman. Kadang masyarakat memaksa individu untuk menjadi sama, hanya karena seluruh anggota tim memakai ukuran 45, diwajibkan semua memakai 45, yang tidak setuju dianggap semaunya sendiri, ngeyel. Di sini mulai muncul konflik, memaksakan menjadi sama adalah "non solution to non problem". Pikiran kritis dan jernih itu jarang ada di masyarakat, karena itu Socrates dihukum mati, Spinoza dilaknat dan dikucilkan. 

Henry David Thoreau memilih dipenjara daripada membayar pajak yang digunakan untuk perang, tindakannya adalah Civil Disobedience. 

Sebagai individu, saya setuju dengan Thoreau, Kant, dan Socrates. Kewajiban buatan manusia itu tidak ada nilainya dihadapan pikiran jernih dan kritis. 

Nassim Nicholas Thaleb dalam salah satu bukunya menyebutkan bahwa di Inggris makanan kosher/halal mendominasi pasar, 60% dibanding populasi muslim yang hanya 13%, ini disebut non-negotiable minority. Bagi minoritas muslim, tidak bisa ditawar, makanan harus halal, titik, harga mati, siapapun tidak bisa memaksa mereka untuk makan makanan non halal. Saya pun sebagai individu tidak akan bernegosiasi, kaki ukuran 42 akan memakai sepatu 42 apapun kata dunia. Dalam buku berjudul "Dare to be disliked" disebutkan, manusia hanya akan bisa bahagia jika membangun hubungan horisontal bukan vertikal terhadap manusia lain, tidak ada yang boleh sok berkuasa dan memaksa individu seolah ia berada di bawahnya. "Unless one is unconcerned by other people's judgments, has no fear of being disliked by other people, and pays the cost that one might never be recognized, one will never be able to follow through in one's own way of living." (Alfred Adler)

0 either crazy or in love

 don't trust future you,

if you refuse discipline today,

the "future you" will only repeat the same mistake.

there are only two things, 0 & 1

left and right, in and out

your hardship and toil will be

a sweet memory if you 

finally successful,

even if you don't

you won't regret it!

It feels forever, the pain

when over, it's felt like a dream.

will you still work so hard

if you know, you won't make it?

if so, either you are crazy or in love.
