Me: what’s your name?

Lazy: I am lazy.

Me: where are you from?

Lazy: heaven.

Me: how does it look like in heaven?

Lazy: you don’t need to work hard to be happy and please. Everything is there for you.

Me: If you are from heaven, you must be good.

Lazy: not necessarily, evil also had been there as well.

Me: so you are not good?

Lazy: I’m not, I’m lazy.

Me: what’s the meaning?

Lazy: I don’t know. It’s probably meaningless.

Me: maybe you are just too lazy to find out.

Lazy: when you find something out, you will be in trouble like adam and eve.

Me: so, are you happy?

No, I’m lazy.

Me: you are nothing but lazy.

Lazy: yes, true.

Me: where do you live?

Lazy: I don’t live, I just present, everywhere.

Me: can lazy people be successful?

Lazy: most successful people be lazy. They pay people to do thing for them. They don’t walk any more like an invalid. They don’t cook their meals nor wash their clothes by themselves. So you work hard to be lazy in the future. In fact, to work hard is to slowing your aging.

Me: but successful people look younger in their old age.

Lazy: that the effect of their hard work. When they start to be lazy they start their faster aging. This is evolution thing, use it or lose it.

Me: should people work hard all his life?

Lazy: what is the point?

Me: to be happy?

Lazy: you don’t have to be or do anything to be happy. Happiness is easy to get but people just look for it in the wrong place.

Me: where do people look for it? And where is the right place?

Lazy: they look for it in luxury, money, status, power, actually it’s just in your mind, in your heart.

Me: easy to say that but hard to find it.

Lazy: most people are afraid to listen to their heart. It’s dark and bottomless. Of course only fearless and wise people can find it. I mean, only those have good characters can find it. No matter your situation and condition, if you have good characters you will find happiness, vice versa.

Me: so, work hard won’t make me happy?

Lazy: if you work hard for money, status, power, pleasure, No! It won’t make you happy! You will get what you work hard for.

Me: but I can buy pleasure.

Lazy: true. Pleasure is short and limited. Anything you can buy with money is worthless. If you can buy love with money, such love is fake worthless love.

Me: is lazy good?

Lazy: lazy is lazy, good is good.

Me: so, to be happy is to have good characters, if you are unhappy then means you don’t have good characters?

Lazy: happy is moral obligation. Coz your happiness affect others. If you are unhappy mother, you will make unhappy children, if you are unhappy teacher, you will make unhappy students, and on. So, to be unhappy is immoral.

Me: if you see your family lives in poverty, can you be happy? If your friends are murdered, if your spouse are cheating on you, will you be happy and claim that unhappy is immoral?

Lazy: if god allows such things, how can’t I? To repay evil with evil is not the best way. To let go unnecessary thoughts is to free oneself from mental illness. Socrates is the best example. His death is unjust. He has the good characters so he is happy no matter evil falls upon him. Evil can only touch his body but can’t hurt his soul. He believes in soul. Soul maybe is just the way of thinking. People debate but like Socrates I believe that you can’t be happy doing bad things. The only way to be happy is to have good soul, good heart (Aristotle revers to good characters). For Buddha, there’s no way to happiness, happiness is the way itself. You are there by realizing that you are already there (knowledge). To be happy you need virtue, to be virtuous you need knowledge.
